Dark waters
- - - - - -

Inspired by Travis Smith's work Blackwater Park used as an album cover design by Opeth.

For those that use different screen resolutions:
This image was originally designed to fit on my desktop, sized 1280x960 (I have been told this is uncommon resolution). It should perfectly resize on desktops sized 1152x864, 1024x768 and 800x600. I also tested it on 1280x1024 (which has incorrect proportions!) and it works absolutely great with those dimensions too. On resolutions larger than those mentioned here there may occur degradation of sharpness and quality.

This image consists of one stock photograph of a forest, and several stock photos of seascapes. Merging and aftereffects done in Adobe Photoshop 7.

i'm here from

the colors and mood are nice, and works pretty well togheter. but what bothers me of the piece is the massive overlaying of trees and forest images. it looks more like an abstract mess rather than a defined and prescise piece. there is just too much to look at that you cant focus on one thing, and i think that ruins a bit the purpose of a wallpaper.

Like your theme and style in this piece, A little less defined than it could be, but gives it a scoobydo feel!

Well done, would love to see more!
